What they are
Every classroom comes with student quizzes built in. Students can work through short quizzes on different topics, and correct answers can earn them cash paid straight into their bank account.
Why they matter
Quizzes give students a low-stakes way to practise what they've learned, with a small Banqer dollar reward to make it worthwhile. Because quizzes are switched on for every classroom by default, teachers don't need to set anything up to get started. The main thing to decide is how much (if anything) a correct answer is worth.
How they work
Quizzes can't be turned off from classroom settings, as they're an always-on part of Banqer Primary. What you do control is the reward: how much cash is paid per correct answer, including setting it to $0 if you'd rather quizzes run with no payout at all.
Only a student's first attempt at a quiz pays out. They're welcome to retake a quiz afterwards to improve their score, but retakes don't earn additional money.
Each quiz shows students their progress: not started, in progress, or complete, along with their score and, if rewards are on, how much they've earned.
Example
A student takes the ‘Getting Started with Money’ quiz for the first time and gets 4 out of 5 questions right. They're paid for each correct answer straight into their everyday account. If they retake the quiz later to try for a perfect score, that second attempt doesn't pay out again.
